So, sometimes you have those days when you just think about life. God's plan for you, your future, ect. I get a headache sometimes because I think SO much, but that's normal. If you think about it...I'm pretty much always sick...but that has nothing to do with this. :) Anyway, yeah I'm always thinking. And it usually happens on Sunday nights after youth group. I'll get home and go in my room and just think over everything that happened that day, and just imagine what life will be like five or so many years down the road. I try to live according to God's plan for me, and sometimes that's hard because I tend to think I know exactly what my life will be like, where I'll work, and occasionally my future kids' names. Haha...well that changes with whoever I'm liking at the time...so anyway I try and figure out what God's telling me I need to do, where I need to go, and who I need to talk to.
We had a really powerful message yesterday at church. And that goes for Sunday morning AND Sunday night, but that's pretty much the usual right? Well yesterday morning they talked about God's strength and the guest speaker was talking about cowards. I thought about it and it really hit me...if you know me, you know I'm not quite outgoing and I tend to sit back and let others do what I know I should do. This thought revisited me last night when another guest speaker talked about serving, being the hands and feet of Jesus. Of course this got to me too, because as much as I hate to admit it...I pretty much missed all of Nerve To Serve at church. I always seemed to have an excuse. Mostly to do with a problem with my leg that's been going on for a while now... But the speaker talked about how Satan will get to you, distract you and make excuses for you not to serve. We're most like Christ when we serve, right? So Satan HATES it when we do. And he stopped me. So I know I really need to change the way I do things, because I have to say it...I'm pretty lazy.
